Microphone and audio
Notalyzer uses the microphone only while you record a take. Each take is sent to our analysis service to produce the report. That service, hosted on Vercel, processes the audio in a temporary file that is deleted when the analysis finishes.
Data that stays on your device
Your recorded takes, your reports, latency calibration and preferences are stored on your phone. You can delete takes from the app. Uninstalling the app also removes the local data.
Reminders
If you turn on practice reminders, the app asks for notification permission and schedules them on your device. You can turn them off in iOS settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Notalyzer does not receive or store your card or your Apple account details.
Providers
- Vercel: hosts the analysis service that processes each take’s audio.
- Google Fonts: serves the fonts for this website. When you load it, your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address.
